Abstract

The present article presents the results of the investigation entitled “Participation Of The Family In The Educational Process Of The Seventh “A” Students Of The Basic Education Of The “Teniente Hugo Ortiz School” Vespertina Section Of The City Of Loja And The Intervention Of The Social Worker” a problem that affects the educational environment. The field research exposes the relevant data through the quantitative interpretation and qualitative analysis, which allowed to support the object of study formulated in the scientific question "What are the factors that Influence the Family Participation in the Educational Process of the Students". The general and specific objectives were aimed at "knowing the factors that influence the participation of the family in the educational process of the students of the Teniente Hugo Ortiz School in the evening section of the city of Loja"; diagnose family participation within the educational process of the students with a scientific theoretical basis ”, and design a proposal for social action to strengthen the participation of the family in the educational process of their children. The methodology used allowed the objectives set to be met, starting from the scientific support of the categories of analysis of family participation and the educational process from other scientific approaches. The results answered the scientific question, in which a decreased participation of the family in the educational process was determined, the family was disconnected from school activities, parents were discouraged from participating in activities that strengthened the relationship. of the educational trilogy, allowing to propose a proposal that strengthens the participation of the family in the educational process in the students, from an approach of intervention from Social Work, that sensitizes on this problem.
