Abstract

This article analyzes the impact of implementing teaching strategies on the development of research skills in master's students within the research methodology course. The objective of the study is to determine whether the application of these strategies generates significant improvements in the level of skills achieved by master's students. The research was conducted using a pre-experimental design with a quantitative approach and an instrument that was rigorously validated by an external author. By applying the instrument in a pretest and a posttest, a statistical process was used to determine the normality of the data and whether there was a statistically significant increase in the averages. The results show significant differences between the initial and final measurements, confirming a positive effect of the intervention. It is concluded that the teaching strategies favored the strengthening of research skills in higher education, providing empirical evidence for the formulation of new graduate projects and replication in other academic contexts.
