Inteligencia Artificial y Realidad Virtual y su Aplicación en la Educación

This article investigated the impact of the development of artificial intelligence (AI) and virtual reality (VR) in education, with the aim of evaluating their impact on teaching and learning methods. Using the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) methodology, the study was structured in three phases: planning, development, and reporting. Five research questions were addressed: recent advances and their impact on education, findings and trends in the literature, benefits and challenges for students, effective strategies for classroom implementation, and evolving and emerging areas in research. The results indicated that AI and VR are revolutionizing education by providing personalized and immersive learning experiences, although they also present challenges in terms of technology integration and teacher training. These findings underscore the significant potential of these technologies to enrich the educational process and highlight the need for further research to overcome obstacles and maximize their benefits in the academic field.
