ECONOMIC AND FINANCIAL SITUATION OF THE MERCHANTS OF THE NUEVO TARQUI ASSOCIATION AND ITS IMPACT ON PRODUCTIVE DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

The present investigation was focused on the merchants of the Nuevo Tarqui Association, from the city of Manta, and its objective is to analyze the economic and financial situation of the merchants of the Nuevo Tarqui Association and its incidence in the productive development of the Manta canton during the 2020. In the city of Manta, 1,700 merchants were registered, so that 1,550 retail merchants who adapted their businesses in modules and islands work, while another 150 wholesale merchants do so in containers according to the database of the same Association. This Nuevo Tarqui Association was born with the need to seek a better economic quality in its businesses. As the author (Belén, 2017) states about the approach to a better economy in business "...she considers it important to frame relevant information about the economy and the direct relationship with the activities that they seek to carry out to satisfy those needs." In the research work it was determined that it is of a non-experimental, descriptive and documentary type with a qualitative and quantitative approach where the collection and selection of information through surveys is required, in addition to having a field study with statistical conclusions. Finally, according to the results that were obtained, it has been designed as a proposal, to propose basic training courses on basic accounting, administrative and financial topics so that it will be of great importance for the achievement of success in the businesses of the merchants of the New Tarqui Association.
