BEARING CAPACITY OF THE SOIL WITH AND WITHOUT USE OF THE WINCH IN THE SPT TEST

Abstract

For this work, a bibliographic review was carried out on the concepts and definitions of the soil, its properties and physical and mechanical characteristics, of the principles of soil mechanics to determine and classify the type of study land, as well as the processes and methods for the calculation of bearing capacity, define the type of SPT test, processes and advantages of this method of calculating bearing capacity. The obtained result determined that there were differences in the number of blows, presenting a greater number of these with the use of the winch.
