MEDIATION FOR THE RESOLUTION OF INTRA-FAMILY CONFLICTS IN PATIENTS OF HOSPITALS IN THE GUAYAQUIL CANTON YEAR 2020

The objective of this study was to demonstrate affective family problems, analyze economic family problems, and identify the form of communication between relatives that influence strategies, intervention and social support with the mediation of intrafamily problems in patients from hospitals of the Guayaquil Canton during the In 2020, a qualitative and quantitative mixed approach research methodology was carried out, to obtain data, the evaluation questionnaire was applied to a sample of 557 patients, of which 55% are between 18 and 40 years old, 49% are male, and 47% female, 84% of people consider that mediation is an important strategy for conflict resolution, 10 health professionals such as doctors, social workers were interviewed , psychologists, psychorehabilitators in the care of patients at the General Hospital Monte Sinaí and Hospital del Guasmo. In conclusion, it was determined that problematic situations occur due to certain economic factors, but not with greater frequency, such as disintegration, family, separation of the couple and lack of communication that led to internal problems in the family. The characteristics of families are different and their dynamics, so professionals must create strategies in order to improve the manifestations presented.
