Mission, vision, goals and scope
✅ MISSION
The Scientific and Arbitrated Journal of Social Sciences and Social Work: Tejedora has as its primary mission, to publish the results of the research carried out in Higher Education Institutions at the national and international level, to contribute to scientific progress. It also accommodates researchers from other institutions outside its borders.
✅ VISION
To be the national and international reference for scientific publications in the areas of Social Sciences and Social Work, at its different levels in Latin America and the Caribbean, with high quality standards and methodological rigor.
✅ GOALS
The objective of the Scientific and Arbitrated Journal of Social Sciences and Social Work: Weaver, is to disseminate scientific knowledge, through the original results, product of scientific research, that represent a contribution to development in the areas of Social Sciences and Labor Social. It includes works, products of scientific research and theoretical reflections that, due to their relevance, deserve to be published, and thus contribute to making intellectual production visible.
✅ SCOPE
The Scientific and Arbitrated Journal of Social Sciences and Social Work: Weaver, is aimed at researchers, teachers, students and the academic audience at its different levels (Initial, Basic, University), as well as the scientific community in general and others people involved in the educational act.
In order to maintain the quality of the publication and its impartiality and ethics, the articles or essays received are evaluated by two external reviewers (peer-review) considered experts in the subject, who accredited as such those selected collaborators. , taking place a double blind review, (author / s-evaluators). In case of discrepancy, a third evaluation will be used, also in a double-blind process and following the journal's publication rules. The evaluators will act under the criteria of competence, confidentiality, impartiality and honesty, diligence, respect and courtesy.
