Borderline Personality Disorder is linked to challenges in its treatment, given the emotional, interpersonal, and behavioral instability that pose a significant risk to this population. Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) has proven to be highly effective, with mindfulness skills training (DBT-M) playing a crucial role and producing promising results. Based on this, a systematic review of the literature is presented with the aim of analyzing the effectiveness of DBT-M in the treatment of adults with BPD. The review includes records from 2017 to 2025 from the Scopus, Taylor & Francis, ProQuest, and Springer databases. The findings of the 10 articles included showed a decrease and improvement in symptoms, as well as an increase in emotional self-regulation through de-centering, demonstrating that these skills were beneficial for BPD. However, it is essential to continue conducting further analysis of the importance and effects of this module in DBT treatment and reduction of clinical severity, as this benefits future interventions and their scientific rigor
