Borderline Personality Disorder is characterized as a complex psychopathology, given its emotional, affective, and interpersonal instability, as well as impulsive and self-harming risk behaviors, which requires a highly effective intervention to address it. Based on this, the present research proposal focuses on the problem of Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) in adults, which was identified through practical experience. Starting from this initial observation, a central question was posed and a systematic review of the scientific literature was carried out with records between 2020 and 2024, respectively, in the Scopus, ProQuest, and ScienceDirect databases, chosen for their high scientific rigor in the field of mental health at the international level, in order to analyze the effectiveness of dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) in the adult clinical population diagnosed with borderline personality disorder. The findings of the 15 articles that make up this systematization emphasized the validity of DBT at the individual and group levels, as well as its versatility in adapting its timing to various individual and contextual variables without compromising the improvement of symptoms and overall well-being of the clinical population with BPD
