Analysis of Anxiety Disorders Associated with Infertility in Couples at the Psicobienestar Therapeutic Center

Infertility is recognized as a global problem that affects millions of couples both physically and emotionally, generating high levels of anxiety and stress. This article analyzes anxiety disorders associated with infertility in couples treated at the Psicobienestar Therapeutic Center in Calceta, Manabí. The methodological design was non-experimental, cross-sectional, with a mixed-method approach. The research identifies emotional and social factors that impact the couple's quality of life and relationship. Instruments such as the Beck Anxiety Inventory and the Coping Inventory for Stressful Situations were applied to assess anxiety and coping styles in stressful situations. The population consisted of 200 couples attending the Psicobienestar Psychotherapeutic Center in the city of Calceta. The sample included 118 couples stratified by age and region, with a comprehensive analysis of their experiences. The findings underscore the importance of personalized psychotherapeutic interventions to improve emotional adjustment and overall well-being
