Microskills associated with literacy in children with low academic performance in the Educational Unit "November 4"

There are no previous studies that have analyzed the microskills associated with literacy in low-performing school children, however, there is a problem that is still in force today. Therefore, research is required to deepen these aspects. That is why the main objective of this study is to analyze the development of associated microskills in literacy in children with low performance. A mixed, descriptive, prospective and cross-sectional study was carried out. The results obtained showed that out of 30 schoolchildren, the highest incidence was found in inferential reading and logical sequence, which are micro-skills associated with literacy. It is concluded that there is an impairment in the development of the microskills studied in schoolchildren with low performance.
