COST ACCOUNTING AND ITS INCIDENCE IN THE DETERMINATION OF PROFIT MARGINS

The Fish cevichería restaurant in the Manta canton, dedicated to the preparation of meals with a unique and unmistakable flavor, using fresh seafood and vegetables. The business does not have a cost system that allows them to know the profits from the sales of the food dishes, it only has basic accounting and its costs are taken empirically according to the years in the business. It should be noted that the main objective of the research is to design a cost system for production orders to improve the profitability of the Fish cevichería restaurant in the Manabí province of the Manta canton. Therefore, this review has the objective of clarifying concepts that will allow adequate control over the costs incurred in the dishes, since this causes poor decision-making for the business, and as a consequence affects its profit margin and profitability.
