Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the processes related to higher education institutions in the province of Manabí, Ecuador, around the inherence in the selection actions of teachers who participate in academic training activities both in the country and abroad, taking into consideration that these are one of the most important intellectual resources for the development and function of the Manabí and Ecuadorian community in general. This approach is based on the analysis of the organizational climate, which shows the working conditions in which teachers work and how this affects the process of their professional training. The methodology applied is quantitative in nature, with a descriptive, cross-sectional, correlational, non-experimental design. An instrument was used where three dimensions of the Organizational Climate variable were evaluated: institutional management, individual challenges and interaction, and two dimensions of the Professional Training variable: Professional competence and evaluation and promotion.
