Abstract

This work arises from the need to solve the problem of the existence of a depressive state in a sector of the population of the city of Manta, caused by a natural disaster (earthquake), this as the main factor that causes it. To solve this problem, an investigation is established through the application of evaluative tools that allowed obtaining detailed information from the sample. When analyzing the results of this, its existence is verified; Therefore, it was sought to establish the "Characterization of Depression Levels in merchants of Nuevo Tarqui-Manta, after the earthquake April 16, 2016".
