The present research outlines the communicational problems of schools after the earthquake of April 16, 2016 in the province of Manabí, the relationship between education and society, and educational institutions at the local community. The study "STRATEGIC COMMUNICATION OF THE EDUCATION DIRECTORATE OF MANABÍ: DEVELOPMENT OF THE PARADIGM OF SISMIC PREVENTION AND ITS INCIDENCE IN REOPENING CLASSES AFTER THE EARTHQUAKE OF APRIL 16, 2016", determines the strategy that was planned and executed to normalize school life in Manabí after the natural disaster
