Design of a wastewater treatment system for the company ASISERVY S.A. and its reuse in associative type crops in the canton Jaramijó tuna park sector

This work is aimed at the design of a wastewater treatment system for the reduction of chlorinated disinfectants, detergents, oils, and fats in the company ASISERVY S.A. and its reuse in associative-type crops, for which it was necessary to carry out sampling and laboratory analysis of the water from each of the phases of the current treatment process to be compared with the allowed discharge parameters and for use in irrigation. Based on this, an analysis of the data obtained was carried out to determine the wastewater treatment system that meets the current conditions of the company. Through the physical-chemical laboratory tests carried out, it was determined that the dosage of flocculants and coagulants produced a 2.33% removal of contaminants using anionic flocculant and 0.76% with cationic flocculant. The effluent was analyzed after the application of the physical-chemical treatment, verifying that it contributes to the effective reduction of parameters and allowed optimizing the removal of pollutants generated, being within the ranges established by the environmental legislation. Based on the improvement and restructuring of the processes, the design of the Treatment Plant was dimensioned and established.
