Abstract

The art forms have been part of the identity of the city of Sto. Domingo throughout the years, despite it their realization is affected by the lack of spaces for the learning and development of the art. This directly affects the citizenship without distinction of age or class. Therefore, it supposes the loss of the meaning that the artistic expressions have. From the research, we seek to respond to the need for social development, the stimulus for self-improvement and the interest in acquiring knowledge both theoretical and practical in the development of the arts. To achieve this, a two-tier infrastructure was proposed, considering the appropriate architectural requirements for artistic activities, based on those that have been developed in the city with greater relevance. Finally, it is concluded that the art forms play as a cultural dynamizer and an element of social cohesion between human groups and for that reason it should tend to provide spaces that encourage the enhancement of this.
