Sustainable urban mobility as a product of public transport in the Canton of Manta

Urban, road and transport conditions are a group of aspects that are related to each other, which can produce a positive or negative reaction depending on the state of any of them and therefore on the quality of life of people that take place in that urban and road environment. This situation is present in the Manta canton, where there is a constant need in aspects related to comfort, safety and comprehensive well-being of the elements involved in its public transport. For this reason, the research efforts directed by the deductive, analytical and descriptive methods were turned to the study area, its history and mobility characteristics, as well as to a theoretical framework in which the points that surround the premise are exposed. of public transport in general. Through an analysis it was possible to compare bibliographic information with the statistical product obtained from the research process that resulted in a diagnosis of the reality of public transport in the city of Manta based on the perception of its users. This made it possible to describe the shortcomings of the system and the most suitable characteristics for its improvement, resulting in several benefits that increase the quality of life of the song's population and its environment.
