Abstract

Psychoeducation and Family Guidance make up a process of help for the personal improvement of those who make up the family, and for the improvement of society from its core. Information compiled from literature reviews focused on these areas is presented. This research represents a complement to existing studies on these concepts where the approach from the perspective and contribution that research can provide will be analyzed. Family counseling hand in hand with psychoeducation can be understood as a help given to the family through a set of techniques focused on preventing and dealing with difficulties that its members go through at different times of the life cycle.
