Seguridad en el Mantenimiento Preventivo de Máquinas de Mecanizado Convencional: Prácticas y Protocolos para un Entorno Laboral Seguro

This research addresses the importance of ensuring safety in preventive maintenance tasks on conventional machining machines. The most significant risks associated with these operations are detailed, including possible mechanical, electrical, chemical, and ergonomic risks derived from the handling of tools and machinery. The main objective is to ensure the safe execution of tasks and minimize risks for workers. Specific practices and protocols are highlighted with the clear intention of establishing a safe working environment during maintenance operations, emphasizing the crucial importance of personnel training, the implementation of preventive measures, the proper use of personal protective equipment and strict compliance with safety protocols, including the application of lockout/tagout (LOTO) protocols as an essential measure to prevent accidents.
